There are 10 categories in all; Best Small Venue, Best Large Venue, Best Music Venue, Best Bar Food, Best Traditional Pub, Best Cocktail Bar, Best Club, Best Club Night and Best Bar Team. With one venue voted Leicester's Best Bar.

40,000 voting forms accompanied by ballot boxes will be all over the city by the middle of August, and there will be a mighty fine prize for one lucky voter to ensure the public vote.
